- For so many people, 2020 was a year of self-reckoning as we were thrust into a cocoon of isolation and social distancing. This sudden and enduring shift led many of us to examine our lives: where we were, where we had been, and where would we like to be going forward. At the center of this state of self-awakening is the practice of mindfulness. From within a state of restful awareness we are able to focus on our intentions and our desires and strengthen our capacity for resilience. Resilience strategist and author Rita Schiano will explore the process of why mindfulness matters and how we can utilize this practice to live a more flourishing life.

10:45Valerie Gordon - "Fire Your Narrator! Get Out of Your Head and Into Your Life"
- Want better external results? Start with the internal story. Of all the characters in your story, none is more influential than your own narrator. Often labeled an “inner critic,” your narrator is that voice in your head that provides commentary throughout your day and creates your narrative point of view - the way in which you view and respond to the world. If you’ve got an overly critical, questioning or doubting narrator, it’s time to revise old or unhelpful storylines, recast your narrator, and start writing a better next chapter!
